Our Run workshops focus on how everyday people can get involved in elections as candidates and support their peers to do the same
The workshops are ideal for community groups, representative bodies and youth organisations. These workshops will introduce practical skills for running an election campaign and demonstrate the real world examples of young people who have got elected.
Aim : Support young community leaders to take the next step in their advocacy journey to enter politics as election candidates, primarily at local government level.
Workshop content :
Stories of young elected community leaders
Introduction to election campaigning
How to get involved in political parties, systems and established networks.
Finer Details : 1 hour run time. Requires a presentation space with a projector. These sessions are best delivered to an audience of 20-25 engaged young people. While these workshops are provided for free, we are a volunteer run organisation and would appreciate a donation to support the running of these programs.
