 Our vote workshops focus on ways in which young people can engage in political and electoral systems, and cast educated votes..

The workshops are ideal for tertiary or late high school age students, soon to vote for the first time. These workshops will teach both practical skills for casting a vote and the importance of meaningful participation in democratic systems.

Aim : These workshops will aim to increase political literacy of young people and answer all of their voting related questions.

Workshop content :

  • How do governments work?

  • How the voting system works, what to think about Before election day, and on election day.

  • Factors to consider when voting, such as Political advertising and media bias.

Finer Details : 50 minutes run time. Requires a presentation space with a projector, presenters can address audiences up to 200 people. While these workshops are provided for free, we are a volunteer run organisation and would appreciate a donation to support the running of these programs.
